Torrential rain and gusty wind whip through the towers of Valero making pedestrians at road level seemed like poor chicks lost from mother hen's care.
Then I saw one lady screaming from the other side of the street. With barefeet, she was braving the floodwaters to chase for the other pair of her sandals. Too bad, it was swept away. At least, she still got the other half. All these before my eyes on the morning of August 15, 2007. |
